Method of extraction:
Eucalyptus is steam-distilled from the fresh or partially dried leaves of the Eucalypt species.
Characteristics:
Eucalyptus Globulus (Blue Gum) is a cineole-rich oil with a refreshing, slightly camphoraceous but typical eucalyptus odour.
Therapeutic Actions:
Analgesic, Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antineuraligic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, astringent, balsamic, cicatrisant, decongestant, deodorant, diuretic, expectorant, febrifue, hypoglycaemic, rubefacient, vermifuge, vulnerary.
Mode of administration:
Topical application – massage, compress, bath, liniment, skincare; Inhalation – direct inhalation, diffuser, oil vaporiser, steam inhalation.
Safety:
Eucalyptus is reported to be non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising however due to the high levels of 1,8-cineole care must be taken.

Essential Oil Eucalyptus 10ml
I am switching to more natural products and as part of this now use a half and half mixture of white wine vinegar and water to clean all my surfaces and sinks. This does a really good job and although the smell of the vinegar disappears very quickly I bought this Eucalyptus oil to give a nice fragrance to the bathroom spray - and Lemon oil for the kitchen. They both do a great job!
