How can I inflate the Physique Soft Pilates Ball?

The Physique Soft Pilates Ball can be inflated by mouth or by the straw provided up to 20cm in diameter. Quick and easy to inflate and deflate to pack in your gym kit, making it easy to travel with.

Can be blown up with the straw provided, but really it is easier to blow it up by placing your mouth over the hole and blowing. As with all balls of this type, they do let out a little air when you try to put the plug in, but this is normal.

Very disappointing. Smaller than my previous one, hard plastic so not as easy to use and difficult to blow up.

Apologies you weren’t happy with our Physique Pilates Ball Blue compared to a previous one you purchased. We haven’t changed manufacturer of these and find the plastic can be tougher when cold which may make it harder to blow/stretch to correct size, we would advise giving it a stretch and warming it up slightly by inflating and deflating and should hopefully solve your issue.

If you feel it really isn’t suitable, happy for you to pop it back in the post to us at the below address and we can get this investigated with our manufacturer and try get this resolved for you. I hope this helps.

I have now discovered some muscles located inside my upper inner thighs. (I’ve been doing the exercises my wife needs to do, to help and encourage her) have also been sub-setting these with ab crunches… so have now discovered those too. Now need a rope thingy to help me get up off the floor…

Am finding it impossible to inflate using tool provided as every time I remove to put stopper in it deflates too quickly

It’s easy to blow up the ball with straw supplied but there is no valve on the ball so much air is lost when plugging the inflation hole.

Thanks for the review. When inflated quickly place a finger over the hole to help prevent the air from escaping and then remove the finger and quickly insert the plug. This pilates ball was smaller than I was hoping for, but can still be used for pilates exercises as a ball or to lean back on as a support for sitting core exercises. Love the colours it's available in!

Purple or blue they are a great addition to the pplates workout.

They are just as advertised and a good price! Delivery was good too! Well done all round!!

Great item my class love them.

Very difficult to get stopper in without a lot of air escaping, whether using straw or mouth. I think it's because the inner little tube that channels the air is badly designed.
I have a larger ball that's a different make and is very much easier to inflate and add the stopper.

Great product just what I needed.

Found it difficult to inflate - as soon as you remove the provided 'straw' the air comes out, same thing if you inflate by mouth. Great speed needed in getting the 'stopper' in before it deflates. Managed eventually to get it inflated enough to use as a soft ball. Otherwise OK. Maybe a non-return valve might be better?

More sticky than originals and recommended to us at pilates class....nice to use
