Songbird Sports Liquiwax is an excellent pre and post event massage medium. The essential oils in this formula are Manuka (Leptospermum Scoperium) from the same plant as Manuka honey, and Lemon (Citrus limonum). Songbird use a high-quality Calendula Paste which they bring in from New Zealand. Hypericum (St Johns Wort) is also in Songbird Sports Massage Wax.

Manuka essential oil comes from New Zealand as well of course, and has a long history of use by the Maori people and is sometimes called the New Zealand Tea Tree Oil.

If you are looking for an even stronger grip, you could try the Sports Massage Wax - or the Fascial Release Wax, as it's similar in terms of ingredients, but has a stronger and tighter grip than Sports and is ideal for Fascial Release work and deep tissue work which needs a deeper, slower and more controlled performance.

Ingredients

Olive Oil, Beeswax, Essential Oil of Lemon, Essential Oil of Manuka, Arnica Flower Extract, Natural Vitamin E, Calendula Flower Extract, Hypericum Extract.

Citral, Geraniol, Limonene and Linalool are naturally occurring, declarable constituent ingredients of the relevant essential oils.

All of the Songbird products are 100% Natural and are IFRA and EU 1223/2009 compliant.

How to use the pump dispenser

1. Remove tamper evident protection The pump features an integrated tamper evident closure on the back of the pump head to ensure the integrity of the contents. It has to be removed first before pumping the first time.

2. Starting the dispenser pump and variable-dosing function For first time use, turn the dispenser head to the "Start" position and start pumping. Despite the high-performance of the vacuum pump-system it usually takes a few strokes until the Liquiwax comes out. It is essential that the dispenser head is raised 100% to achieve the highest possible vacuum effect. As soon as the Liquiwax is being dispensed, the desired dispensing quantity can be set individually according to specific needs: 3ml, 5ml, 7ml.

The grey integrated protection flap on the nozzle self-opens automatically and protects the contents from dust and drying out as well as preventing contamination of the wax. It might need an occasional wipe.
