England Netball Taping Series – Patellar Tendinopathy Taping Tutorial

Commonly known as Jumper's Knee, patellar tendinopathy is quite common in netball due to the nature of repeatedly jumping and landing during games and training.

While physiotherapy and injury management are recommended for proper recovery, using sports tape to strap the patellar tendon can help when training or playing in matches.

We collaborated with England Netball to bring you this video of England Netball Pathway Physiotherapist, Nick Carpenter-Brooks, as he demonstrates a technique for patellar tendinopathy using Tiger Tapes available from Physique.

While this video shows a great example of patellar tendinopathy taping we recommend you don’t try to tape yourself unless you are medically trained and always seek medical advice for injuries.

This video is part of our England Netball Taping Series which demonstrates a range of taping techniques and tutorials for netball.
