Actimove® Manus Wrist Stabiliser

This is a very good product. Having been given one at the hospital following removal of a plaster cast from a double wrist fracture I needed a spare to enable one to be washed. My wrist feels very secure in the brace and it’s comfortable to wear.

Great. Provides my WRIST support when I need it IN GYM /weights as I have a brain injury. Decent product, I don't mind 'the price', better than any random wrist support that you can buy in sports shops. Decent, highly recommended.

Replacement for the one the hospital gave me so obviously hospital standard. Comfortable and does the job. Will need replacing every month or so, as it gets tatty especially when washed.

This product does exactly what it should. It is comfortable to wear.

It’s a shame they don’t last long as they wear out quickly, but other than that I need them for my wtists

This wrist brace has proved to be very helpful for my arthritic wrists. It gives support whilst allowing me to do such things as gardening, housework etc but keeping my wrist protected. Very good.

A very good replacement. I did not wish to receive a huge catalogue in an even bigger box. I did not notice I had to opt out of receiving it. What a waste!

just what I needed

I was supplied with an Actimove Manus wrist brace by my local hospital following a bad fall necessitating in an operation inserting metal plates in my forearm and wrist. Unfortunately the brace has not worn well and the fabric has come "unstuck" around the thumb and palm. i tried to glue the fabric to both sides of the foam inner, without success. i am able to manage with it while at home.

BUT

I wanted something "smarter" when out. Hospital was Out of Stock and so I have made this purchase direct, relating to which I cannot fault the service and speed with which my order was expedited.

It is very comfortable and I hope will last longer than the 3 months of the original.

A reasonable fit but let down by poor quality materials, with stitching failing after only 10 days use. Not satisfactory for a product which is to be worn regularly.

In summary, somewhat disappointing, as concept good but really let down by lack of quality.

The wrist support isnt what i expected. The metal bar is very flexible and not a solid support which i had hoped for. The 3 straps just dont seem strong enough and i think more straps wiuld been better.wont be buying agajn. Disappointed

It does what it is advertised as. Has helped pain in my wrist when worn at night, it is comfortable to wear and easily adjustable for either wrist. Easy to order and size, fast delivery and well packaged.

I love it! It is so comfortable. I have been able to sleep at night without waking up in pain! The instructions on how to turn it from a right wrist support into a left support are very easy to follow. It is easy to fit and remove. I am thinking of buying a second one, to wear while I wash this one. I certainly can recommend this wrist brace.

It's a bonus that it also looks ok because it's black, but, after just a couple of days the stitching has started unfraying.

Quite poor really delivery was 2 days later than they promised on order and although fits well and supports after 2 days of use the inner lining is split and coming apart

I find that Actimove supports fit and support better than other brands I've tried as I have very slim wrists.

I bought this item because it was identical to the one that was fitted to me by Northampton General Hospital. Thr one that I had failed after 1 1/2 weeks between the wrist and thumb when the neoprene just fell to pieces. The same thing happened to the one bought from you. I am expected to wear this support for up to4 weeks for arthritis of the left hand, I had to machine elastic in p\ace of the strap that goes around the thumb. Other than this problem the support was very comfortable and met the requirements.

Item arrived soon after purchase. Good quality. I ordered a large based on sizes table. A medium instead of large would have been more suitable. I had item adjusted with more velcro added (my own choice rather than return it).

Item working well. More time would be required to confirm its effectiveness over a longer period. Would recommend though.

having bought an Actimove wrist stabilizer with removable stay 6 months ago which performed well but began to disintegrate recently, I purchased the Actimove Manus Wrist Stabilizer as a like for like replacement. The Manus model is comfortable to wear and provides warmth to the wrist but the supporting materials are much more flimsy on this stabilizer to the extent that without the metal stay inserted there is very little support. In addition some of the stitching material is coming away after a weeks usage.

Arrived quickly and comfortable to wear. I’m only giving a 3-star because I just can’t work out how to use this for my right hand. No instructions. Otherwise, I’m happy BUT needs to use it for my right hand, too!

Arrived on time and product appeared to be good. After a few days of use the velcro lost its gripping power and the brace was useless. Theory is good but simply does not work.

Product is excellent, as well as being universal. Simple to use and fit, is comfortable and gives ample support for my wrist. The service at the depot was excellent, fast and polite. Highly recommend

I ordered this one because I had broken my wrist and it was similar to the one I was give at the hospital. Really pleased with my choice as it was the same one given to me at the hospital. This one can be used for left or right hand. Brilliant !

I was given one of these at the hospital when I fractured my left wrist. They are really easy to apply, remove, wash and dry without help from another adult. Delivery was excellent, within 48 hours. Really comfortable to wear.

Needed this quickly I have a fractured wrist and only had one splint for 6 weeks. Delivary was quick and I am happy given the Covid virus it is more essential to keep clean

Really happy with it. My son fractured his arm and was put in this splint at the hospital. Needed another so I could wash it. Easy to remove the metalwork. Only thing I would say is that the instructions do say hand wash and probably best to do so as the fabric might delaminate.
