Not quite what I was looking for. Partly the low rating just because it wasn’t quite right for what I wanted.
Very cooling and soothing immediately. More moist than I thought (very much gel-based consistency) - I didn’t realise I’d need to put something else over it before my sock. Possibly with a plaster/bandage over the top, continuing activity the following day may be possible without further blistering/gel patch moving, but I just put a sock over the top!
My final concern is because it’s not sterile...I wasn’t sure if I could use these on open blisters where the skin has come off.
All in all good for use on closed, one-off blisters but I’m not sure of effectiveness outside of that niche.

As you have rightly pointed out, you do need to use something on the top to secure them in place and we've just updated our product description to include this information. We would advise you not to use these on open blisters, but they are great protecting and hydrating closed blisters and can be worn to prevent blisters from forming.
Excellent product. I used it for a two day 66 mile ultra trail and it did the job perfectly. No blisters, and stayed put despite mud and water.
