BTL-6000 High Intensity Laser
The BTL-6000 High Intensity Laser (HIL) offers a powerful form of pain management, healing, and regeneration through a natural process of energy transfer. It’s effective in the treatment of a multitude of acute and chronic conditions and sport injuries including muscle strain or joint distortion, arthritis, low back pain & sciatica and impingement syndrome to name a few.
A Revolution In Therapeutic Laser Technology
The BTL-6000 High Intensity Laser technology is based on the proven principle of low level laser therapy (LLLT). High power up to 12 W allows deep tissue penetration for unlimited pain therapy. Its maximum power is more than 50 times higher than in cold laser therapy. The BTL High Intensity Laser therapy offers very effective treatment for wide range of clinical indications ranging from muscle injuries and tendinopathies to degenerative joint disorders.
Combining Shockwave and High Intensity Laser therapy allows you to maximize treatment results and to speed up the recovery process. You may choose from single shockwave or laser therapy treatment, or use the treatment combination in one session for exceptional treatment results.
All the advantages of laser therapy
BTL sets a new trend in high-intensity laser applications.
You can switch to conventional manual laser therapy and treat small body areas at any time.
The intelligent manual applicator is equipped with therapy buttons for easier and smoother operation and control of the therapy. An optical system for setting spot size within the range of 10-30 mm reduces the need for additional detachable zoom attachments.
Available in 30W power model.
Features:
- Deep tissue penetration with power up to 12 W in continuous mode
- 1064 or 810 / 980 nm wavelength
- Pulsed mode for immediate elimination of pain
- Precise definition of the treatment area
- Automatic laser source calibration
- Preset protocols for easy application
- Built-in therapy guide
- Touch screen interface
- Safety footswitch operation
Mechanism of Action
The therapeutic effect of laser light is based on biostimulation and the acceleration of cellular processes that contribute to pain reduction and faster recovery after injury. The photomechanical wave stimulates nerve endings, which leads to pain relief. Biostimulation of the affected tissue increases oxygen uptake and improves blood circulation.
The unique combination of 30 W power and 1064 nm wavelength targets deep-lying tissues, maximises pain relief, and delivers strong thermic therapies within a short time.
Classes
Based on the wavelength and power, lasers are divided into multiple classes. Therapeutic lasers are generally of class 3B, low level laser therapy (LLLT), with power less than 500 mW whereas class 4, High Intensity Laser, delivers power of 500 mW and more.
Most Common Applications
- Impingement syndrome
- Hip arthrosis
- Epicondylitis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Patellar tendinopathy
- Low back pain
- Achilles tendonitis
- Back pain
Modes
2 modes are available on the BTL High Intensity Laser – pulsed and continuous. Pulsed mode represents turning the laser on and off at a very high frequency and it is used for pain relief.
Continuous irradiation is a mode in which the laser remains turned on during the entire treatment and is used to promote biostimulation, healing and recovery.
Safety
The optional Robotic Intelligent Scanning System includes the following features to ensure safety during therapy:
- Temperature monitoring
- Thermal perception scan
- Patient position control
